In 2025, the research team led by Professor Wei Xiankui from the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Xiamen University was published in the journal "Science Advances" titled "Research on N-H Coinjection of Perovskite Manganese Oxides for Quasi-Two-Dimensional Polymorphic Ferroelectricity", opening up a new path for multi-state information storage (Quasi-two-dimensional ferroelectricity with multiple switchable polarization states in N-H coinjected perovskite manganites, Journal: Science Advances (2025), DOI: 10.1126/sciadv.adx3747). Recently, this team has made further progress in the same research field. The related work "Contrast Modulation Induced by Asymmetric Oxygen Displacement and Multi-State Ferroelectricity in Distorted Perovskite Oxides" was published in "Applied Physics Reviews", continuing the core idea of structural control and unlocking a new dimension for the regulation of ferroelectric properties (Asymmetric oxygen displacement-induced contrast modulation and multi-state ferroelectricity in distorted perovskite oxides, Journal: Applied Physics Reviews (2026), DOI: https://doi.org/10.1063/5.0310748).This achievement has been successively reported by the public accounts "Research and Analysis Micro" and "Materials People" etc.
