By virtue of in-situ gas and liquid reaction cells under cryogenic conditions, the transient reaction processes, intermediates and microstructural phase transition behaviors of catalysts/supports during catalytic reactions are systematically investigated via electron microscopy. Combined with macroscopic performance tests, catalytic reaction mechanisms are clarified to provide crucial support for the development of new materials and novel devices.
