Lab for Computational Medicine and Bioinformatics of Xiamen University, based on the theories of modern medicine, biology, and public health management, utilizes mathematical statistics, artificial intelligence, and big data analytics platform technologies as tools. Through data modeling, mining, and analysis, it constructs a medical knowledge ontology based on big data, aiming to explore the essence and laws of human life and disease phenomena from the effective information contained within healthcare big data itself. The ultimate goal is to formulate more effective diagnostic, therapeutic, and health management plans. The research group primarily conducts studies in the directions of medical big data, biological big data, AI key technologies, and social science big data. To date, the group has published 57 SCI papers and has nurtured 20 master's degree students and 15 doctoral degree students.
