Yunfeng Wu

Yunfeng Wu received his bachelor’s degree in Information Engineering and his Ph.D. in Signal and Information Processing from the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT), China, in 2003 and 2008, respectively. From 2008 to 2009, Dr. Wu worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Biomedical Engineering at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Ryerson University, Toronto, ON, Canada. He is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Informatics, Xiamen University, Xiamen, Fujian, China. Dr. Wu is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and China Computer Federation (CCF). He has published over 90 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences. He serves on the editorial board for Physiological Measurement, Bioengineering, Sensors, and Frontiers in Signal Processing. Prof. Wu received multiple research grants supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Natural Science Foundation of Fujian, and China’s Ministry of Education. Dr. Wu was the recipient of 2007 Visiting Scholar sponsored by the Croucher Foundation in Hong Kong; received the travel grants of ICONIP’06, ISSS-MDBS’06, and IJCNN’04; and the 2012 IBM Chinese Excellent Students Scholarship. His research topics include data analysis, signal and image processing, biomedical engineering, and artificial intelligence.
